OUR OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Community Outreach
Our community outreach team is helping to connect, organize and inspire the school’s internal champions so they have the support they need to educate and engage our students, their families, and teachers.
A core benefit of our high schools partnerships is the ability of the school’s guidance counselors and social workers to collaborate with the teachers, students, and their parents to determine academic or personal hygiene items needed in support of the students sustainability, wellbeing, and resilience.
High School-to-College Scholarships
FFI is proud to offer scholarships ($1,500) to high school seniors from at-risk communities, who are pursuing higher education. Scholarships will be awarded to African American students with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) majors.
This scholarship is an academic grant wherein the at-risk student can receive the support they need to help them achieve academic growth.
The scholarship assists in providing access to materials, books, meal plans, etc., as needed to obtain the higher education the student is seeking.
Second-Year Stipend Scholarships
FFI is committed to strengthening our "High School-to-College Scholarships" recipients in their pursuit of the higher education they are intensely striving for.
We are committed to supporting our scholarship recipients as they are navigating the headwinds of life challenges during their freshman (first-year) of higher education. We encourage them to work hard, keep their grades in line, and stay in touch with us.
The freshman (first-year) stipend are funds that they are eligible to receive to help mitigate their academic expenses.
